Book recommendations

Bloodlands Europe between Hitler and Stalin by Timothy Snyder. Great book. Something everyone should read before deciding Socialism is a great idea.

Scars and Stripes by Tim Kennedy

Living with a SEAL by Jessie Itzler- Funny book about a guy who paid David Goggins to move in with him and train him.

Outlaw Platoon- Sean Parnell- One of the best books I've read about the war in Afghanistan.

The Gray Man series by Mark Greaney
The Joe Pickett series by CJ Box
The Bob Lee Swagger series by Stephen Hunter
All the Sackett titles by L’Amour
Dirty White Boys by Stephen Hunter
Last of the Breed by L’Amour

This is a great thread, following for sure. Surprised I didn't see this one the list yet, Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurty is a great one.

This was extremely thought provoking. Great recommendation.

I also like Hitchens’ book. I find him far more interesting than Dawkins on the God question. Hitchens (I think) was a close to being agnostic as the two sides of a piece of paper.

I just started Joe Pickett and I'm on book 4. I'm going through a book every 3 or 4 days! It's a great series. I'll have to check out these other series when I'm done.

"Fearless" by Eric Blehm. About a SEAL who overcame drug addiction and became a member of DEVGRU. The biggest thing I took from that book was the role his family/wife played and how important they were in his life.

This book is great. I shed some tears!

I can see that Extreme Ownership has been recommended, but I will throw another recommendation for it in.

Jack Carr's books are fiction, but they are very good as well.

Illumination in the Flatwoods...Joe Hutto

Great read for anyone but particularly us turkey freeks!

another vote for Jack Carr fiction and “the comfort crisis” non fiction

I am just about to finish “The Madness of Crowds” by Douglas Murray. It’s about current cultural shifts in ideology and new dogmas that are emerging in modern times and why they don’t actually make any sense.
Highly recommend it

If you liked Murray’s book, you will probably like The True Beliver by Eric Hoffer. It’s a short book that I think everyone who falls behind a “cause” should read. Actually I think everyone should read it so they dont get wrapped up in social movements.

Added it to my list, thanks

I read business management, advertising and marketing books so my reading time helps me make more money. Here's a couple great ones. The Wizard of Ads and How to Drive your Competition Crazy.
