Bare Minimum Equipment training

Walmart has bumper plates for $.80 /lb delivered right now…

Get a barbell and a squat rack off fb market place for cheap and you’re in business. Then pick up a bench and dumbbells as you find them.

Covid closed gym. Rejoined about two years ago, as GF wanted to.
I had bought a while ago two 45 # dumbbells, and I picked up a 50 lb dumbbell during CV-19.

Girlfriend found BOHO Beautiful, yoga, and had her own Kettlebells and dumbbells, and two yoga mats.
Walk, hike, yoga, and dumbbells. Minimal gear.

Covid closed the gym where I live too which is when I got really into kettlebell and body weight training. I’ve been back to a regular gym a few times but the convenience of training at home has spoiled me. Preparing for the gym, driving there, changing, signing in, waiting for equipment and all that? No thanks, plus I think I got better results doing things on my own.

Today my workout was kettlebell swings, Turkish getups and snatches with my 70lb kettlebell. Followed by 10 sets of 6 pull-ups, a ton of pushups then some weighted lunges.

I’ve been more consistent and far more productive working out at home. Now when I get a bigger house I’ll go all in and get a squat rack/barbell/bench etc.
