Badlands and Rokslide asked me to review one of their new day packs, the ATX 25- 25 as in 2500 cubic inches (40 liters). It's an internal frame with two aluminum stays. I'll be using it on my local single track trails, few longer hikes and going to try to squeeze in a couple of 2-3 day trips w/ it too.

Took it out today on it's maiden voyage- 13 mile (4000') local peak bag :)

Glad they finally put water bottle pockets on sides. Wish SG would put them on the avail.

Badlands is putting out some great designs. Look forward to seeing your thoughts after using it awhile

One correction— the hip belt is NOT removable on the ATX 25, it appears it is on the two smaller ATX packs.
