I think it might be a little large for a kid; it goes the other (larger) a lot; enough so I had a ton of extra webbing on both sids of the buckle.

Still might be worth giving them a shout and see what they think.

It might, but the padded portion of the belt would just about be touching.

OK, thanks. Still might give it a try, the more expensive options aren't in the cards right now.
