the cheapest ar15 rifle that can be trusted out of the box?

Basic PSA blem upper and blem lower was fhe best i could find a few years ago. Goes bang, minute of paper plate with 73 eldm and red dot

For similar application as the OP.

Property/farm defense, home defense, animals to 200 with factory 73 ELDM.

Man, Ive had pretty good luck with PSA stuff.

I’ve had the opposite experience with PSA.
2 pistol kits on lowers I had were junk.
Wouldn’t run at all.

Was a 3 hour nightmare with CS to get a refund and they deleted my review the day after I posted it.

Pretty hard against them if I can afford to do so.

Interesting thread. Anyone have experience with the folding buffer tube adapters from LAW etc? Considering trying one, specifically for vehicle stowage and access, and for discrete transport when in the public eye. Anyone who has tried one, what are your thoughts? Cheers

The folding setup is cool until you shoot it. The folding knuckle is right in your face when you shoot and that sucks. I prefer the Maxim Defense collapsible stock. You can actually fire the weapon with it collapsed……

That may in fact be the case.

Full disclosure it was about 5 years ago when it seemed like a lot of people ended up experiencing QC issues. As far as the product goes.

CS, on the other hand, was very disappointing.
