All things .308 Win

I know this has been discussed, but maybe you can save me a search. I wish the 6x worked for my tired eyes. Had some difficulty making out the hash marks on the 6x. Is the 10x any better? Thinking of trying one of those next. Otherwise, seems the 3-9x and 3-15x work better for me, but can't afford to outfit all my rifles that way. Thinking of outfitting one of my 308s as a "utility" rifle with a 10x SWFA, rather than strictly for hunting.
It’s interesting you say you can’t make out the hash marks on the 6x since they are the same as the 3-9.

I just had all three out doing a little low light comparison as the sun set and I had mixed lighting into the woods. The 3-9 was by far the winner in this condition. But at 6x both the 3-9 and 6x were the same for my eyes in bracketing a stump. The 10x was still useable, but noticeably darker in the same conditions. The 10x has the hollow diamonds which I’m not a huge fan of, but seem to work just fine. If you’ve used the 3-15 you know what I’m referring to vs the 3-9 and 6x MQ.

Thank you for your assessment. I will take this into consideration at next purchase. I wear glasses, and it seems there are challenges with doing so for me and using a scope (esp. In getting the reticle in focus, and yes I know how to use the diopter). It has been awhile since I looked through a 6x, and I've had 2-3 prescription changes in that time, so maybe I need to try the 6x again.

I'm sold on SWFA scopes for the price, after my 3-15x took a beating on the hunt this year and remained zeroed/functional.

JMHO....I sold my 6x's and went to the 10x's. I could no longer make out the reticle on the 6x. The 10x - for me of course - I can make it out just fine.

I'd look through one to see for yourself.

Maybe I'm not crazy then? But that too is debatable 😁. I might have to order both 6x and 10x and see for myself.
