Had an opportunity to take the 20” .308 Tikka Roughtech to distance last weekend. Dialed in drops to 1,000 yards.

Loaded up 155TMKs, in Sig fury hybrid brass with H4895 - 2996fps average over 20 shots. Probably going to work up some 175 TMKs and 185 Juggernauts to see how they compare.

I ran my 308 this weekend with some 175rdf pills I've had sitting around. 8208xbr netted me some very impressive spreads and speeds.

I've been using their 260 rem brass for my 260 AI. My fire forming loads are very accurate and accounted for a 811 yard coyote kill that was facing me. I wouldn't have any problems buying their 308 win brass for my PSS.

yes working through my last 30 of 100 pieces of virgin, even with some pretty beat up necks it’s shot well.
we’ll see how it holds up overtime as I get more firings on these pieces. Price was right

No. The 308 is a sub 250 yard round.

Versatility, cost, reliably good performance.

I just put together a Howa Superlite last year and chose a 308.

Loaded up some 110gr Barnes TTSX all coppers for deer 400 yards and in as a super light recoiling higher velocity load, and I can throw some heavier loads together for Elk or longer range shooting if I want. Just a lot of options with 308.

Anyone have any experience with the Hornady 110CX in .308win? I’ve got some for .30-30AI that have shot well, but I thought they might be a fun, fast, lower recoil option in a lightweight .308.
