I asked about this a few weeks ago when I called them and got a similar answer. They guy I talked to said he still had a bunch of the 107 TMK and loved them for coyotes but he was really surprised when I suggested using them for big game. He did agree that the 6Creed and 6ARC could bring that bullet new life.

The 107gr TMK that Sierra made was a 6.5mm. I am not aware that they ever made a different 6mm model than the current 95gr and the old 117gr DTAC.

Man loving the 6 ARC success. Typical 3 shot 100 yard group from my Howa Mini. I was hammering 100,200,300,600 today just shooting off the MOA reticle in my Zeiss scope. No dialing.

What I was told was that they did a run of the 107 TMK in 6mm. But that they didn’t sell. One tech said they were never marketed and the sales guy said “at the time we had more economically viable projects”. So I got the impression they were never introduced to market, but were an R&D project.

The tech explained that he personally shot all of the ones he had from that run until he ran out and loved them, has been harping on them to make it again. He did say he personally thought 1:8” twist was a tad light for them and liked his 1:7” twist better.

So yes it was in 6mm and yes they still have the tooling to do a run, it was suggested on the side that pushing a 6mm 107 TMK might be the best way to get the ball rolling as it has the least time/effort expenditure to test the waters.

Apologies if I wasn’t as clear as I could’ve been earlier.

I got the 95gr TMK up to 2540fps in a 16” barrel with my 6x45. Anyone have velocities for a short barreled 6 arc to compare it to?
