I'm planning to fire form with 115's, N570, & CCI 250. Would you suggest 64 grains? I also have H1000. 61 grains?I don’t understand why people think “fire forming” is such a task. Buy 100pcs of headstamped 6UM brass, load bullets, shoot, hunt with them if you want. Then you have a 100pcs of “formed” brass to reload, add a couple grains of powder, done.
560 is probably too fast. 565 would be fine, probably in the low 60s for charge weights.Anyone have any input on using n560? No n570 on my shelves.
63 or 64 grains would probably be on the warm side but fine. 61 grains of H1000 would probably do well, that's on the low side for formed cases. Start with 60 maybe.I'm planning to fire form with 115's, N570, & CCI 250. Would you suggest 64 grains? I also have H1000. 61 grains?
Too fast for a 15" barrel?560 is probably too fast. 565 would be fine, probably in the low 60s for charge weights.
I think so. Even H1000 and 565 are on the fast side for it, though perfectly suitable. 560 will hit pressure at very low fill ratios.Too fast for a 15" barrel?
