In my experience with the 30-06, H4350, H4831SC, Staball 6.5, and Varget have been the best consistent powders from 150-200 gr bullets. That Staball 6.5 is an impressive powder if you can get your hands on it.
Willing to share any secret sauce .30-06 with staball recipes?

30-06 always calls to me. I own and regularly shoot .223, 6cm, 6.5cm, 6.5prc and my beloved 25-06, but I always end up taking a 30-06 to hunt. Recoil without a can on is more of a push than a punch, muzzle blast is middle of the road nothing to complain about. My 30-06 rifles are 3/4 moa easily and hit steel at the range as good as the little 6mm does…. Just rings the bell bigger. Nothing wrong with a .308+P

How do you hit at 800 yards with those rainbow trajectories and sailboat BCs?
Don’t you know only Fudds let friends practice fair chase and keep shots within a quarter mile?

How do you spot your crippling gut shots when you make a mistake on your wind dope with that horrendous recoil? And isn’t your shoulder out of action to lift your phone up to document a wound channel for us? That’s why we are out there, after all.

Do you have a Sherpa to haul that anchor for you? Must be nice to be in the 1%. Keep that shit away from this hardcore DIY backcountry forum. I’d rather see $2k sunk into restocking and rebarreling a Finnish budget rifle to get it down to 5 lbs to know you were a legit working class pleb like the rest of us.

I bet that thing is only good for scraggly southern coyote hunting….didn’t you know there is an inverse relationship between bullet diameter and wounding? …..Ask me how I know, I dare you (pretty please do, it’s what I live for)

(I’m having fun, pleas don’t take this seriously, I am a card carrying tikka .223 owner putting together a 6 arc mini…God save the Form and the bounty and inspiration she provides)

Edit: I forgot to add photographic evidence…. Phew! That was dangerous.

One hour and only one like!?!?

C’mon guys I figured that many sweet burns against this Fudd would earn me at least 1k posts worth of group think reinforcements to keep my heart warm for a few days.
