6.5? HD? Match? which staball?

Both actually 6.5 is a little faster but I can shoot both with book max almost interchangeably, I’m sure a better shooter would notice more of a difference than I.

You may be suprised the the crimp is so light you can seat primers fine unless its different to my "crimped" g.f.l brass. By the second seating I couldn't tell with the hand primer (never could seating on the dillon) and a few i just gave a quick spin on my vldchamfer tool and it was done in a 5 seconds maybe including picking up and putting down the brass

Nah, it was painful. Half because of the crimp and half because my Lyman hand priming tool is annoying. I broke some primers, etc.

I'll need to get a much better priming tool in the future if I want to shoot and reload bulk .223 ammo.

There must be variations or differences between GFL brass. Maybe different type runs. I have never struck or had a problem with primer crimping and have loaded many hundreds of them. My brass is once fired bulk factory ammo from a pest contractor.

What kind of load are you using? that seems pretty hot. Sierra manual says 2650-2700 for a 24” barrel. ~25fps per inch I was figuring I’d get more 2450ish MV for a 16”

Yeh, KI guess there is some variation in it for sure. All this brass was being shot from the same boxes of ammo but some would take primers and some wouldn't. I can easily buy once fired ADI stuff in bulk OK but I have a chance to get some bulk Red Earth ammo so I'll explore that option first.

Bonefrog should be GTG in a Tikka, it is a little slower than Black Hills though, by experiences listed here and video reviews online.

Haven’t got the ammo out yet. Been waiting on my new suppressor before I tested it out. The 77 with Barnes worked well in my AR previously

I got somewhere around 1.5" for 20 rounds and mid to low 2600s out of a 18" barrel. At the price point, I think thats pretty good. The BF 77 otm was <1" for 20 out of my rifle, but I know one other person who tried and didn't work great for him.
