I saw you posted your second shot (nice!!!!) and I just realized one of us is mixed up. Either you read the rules wrong or I don’t understand Justin‘s contest, but I thought the first two had to be between 575 and 625 before you could shoot further.

lol I definitely read the rules wrong I wonder now what- guess I’ll have to ask him now what to do- I guess if it disqualifies me it at least opens up a spot for someone else to jump in haha

Technically by the rules you didn't qualify but you could reshoot if the contest isn't filled up

The rules do state that you have to shoot and hit two shots at a range of 575-625 yards before you can attempt your two shots beyond that. But I don't see any reason not to count your first two shots, which were beyond the requirement.

I'm counting your first two shots as good.

I can shoot again if it’s going to come down to a rule amendment- delete my post and scoot forward and start over if that’s what guys want- I don’t want this to become a headache for anyone on her or anyone to have heartburn over it

I'm seeing a few guys shooting square targets. Please remember that the requirement is a 10" circle and not a square.

All you need to do is mark the 10" circle on the target so you can see the shot in relation to the circle.

Thanks! I really enjoy the CBC and look forward to it. I like seeing everyone’s set ups and the great and not so great shooting.
I had considered selling the ATC to help fund a Kowa big eyes build, but it’s so nice and fills some needs that the big eyes can’t, so I went ahead and just bit the bullet $$$
Told my kids that I had to convert some of their inheritance $ to glass

It's not explicitly against the rules but I feel it violates the spirt of the challenge. We have to bring @Justin Crossley in to make in or out judgment calls.

Justin already said that he was going to allow it- it’s everyone else that seems to be worried about it- I’ll withdrawal if it comes down to it I really don’t care at this point- someone else is welcome to have to the spot and they can call an MER of 700 and show me how it’s done haha- it was a simple mistake but ya it was outside of the rules- just like the guys shooting square targets- let’s not make this harder than it needs to be- it’s not the Olympics, if I am DQ’d then that’s how it goes
