Haven't seen the Bugle Report thread which I always enjoy following each year. So I can officially say they are NOT bugling in Tennessee. Hope they are bugling in Wyoming next week though!

One bugle above timberline morning of the 29th. Hiked around before season hour before daylight to hour after daylight just listening and haven't heard anything more yet.

I've heard bulls bugling all week in Montana. We are one week out and it seems pretty par for the coarse nothing to serious yet. They are all hard horned and I'm starting to see rubs and bulls leaving they're summer areas to find cows.

Spent last two days in one of the panhandle units and didn’t hear any bugling as of yet.

Last week in w. Wa heard 5-6 different bills bugling back and forth, but that was also behind gates that don’t get much hunter pressure

Had 3-4 different bulls going openin morning. It’s hot in my part off Idaho they were done by 930. This morning a decent 6 came in with 2 cows caught me bit off guard as I was working a different fired up bull. He stopped broadside at 52 I dialed and started to draw before he spun out. Temps will drop towards the end of next week I’ld expect it to really pick up.

Bulls were popping off in the Idaho panhandle the last 3 nights. One of my favorite hunts has 3 camps, 4 other rigs and one guy camped in the road....all on a 400 acre basin in the Joe. I have seen 3 guys blow that thing out. I punted to plan B and was glad I did. Bulls were vocal for bit beginning and end and no other hunters in plan b.

I'm taking the 15th through the end of the month to get serious.
