The site for me that last couple days, when I click on the alerts it drops down over the main page, but then before I can click on the alert it swaps pages to the full page of alerts.
Something wierd is happening.

Seems a few quirks have been taking place, like an update changed things.

When I go to quote someone, it removes me from the thread, like I selected a sub-thread almost, or something different. I can't scroll back up to see previous posts, or quote an additional person in the thread.

But yeah, way over my pay grade.
@Jskaanland maybe?

Same for about two weeks most any click moves to a new page where before it didn't.

Day 3 done for me as well. I was out today further back then I would like to be. Still getting used to shooting at a 3D target I think and I need to check my bows tune again when this is all done. I think my BH's at 50 are a few inches to the right of my point of aim currently.

So far I have had exactly 1 shot on a deer in my hunting career and it came 15 minutes into my 1st hunt ever, made a good shot and harvested my 1st dear, so this is great practice for me. Thanks again to all that help put this on every year.

Hoping to get it done again this year, I have learned a TON in the last 2 seasons and enjoyed reading @robby denning book last year during season.

Day 3 in books. Didn’t have to do the Walkashame back from the target today.

I hear ya there. My first shot I didn't really take the time to focus on the shot and missed my kill zone. I like the cold bow challenge. First time doing it. I really like that when I draw that bow back I am laser focused like I would be hunting rather than just putting in reps.

@robby denning could you review my day 3 in post #21 of the challenge? I had a brain fart and pulled my arrow before I took a picture but you can see it's my third shot since I'm using a new target face.

Will you accept it or do I need to start over?

Thanks!

We believe you. I’ve done the same thing before.

Nice shot Robbie. My 4th shot was by far my worst. Nothing like a nice piece of humble pie.

Now that we’re at Day 4, it‘s interesting to go back and see how everyone‘s doing (and read about people’s equipment and why they chose certain MER/vital sizes)

Seems like members are getting better at pushing themselves. While there’s some great groups on there, seems like majority are either dropping an arrow, are surprised they made a certain shot (me on day 4), or at least admitting to struggling to keep a vital-sized group.

Running this thing for 6 years, it seems many are figuring out their true MER by pushing it.

I remember the first few years people saying it was “easy” but then @realunlucky started pushing people to follow the spirit of the contest. I don’t see anyone saying that now.

And I really like the ballons for vitals. Might do that next year.

Keep it up everyone

I thought 50 was a no go for me, we'll see by the end if I'm better than I thought or lucky
