Very much so. We don't have the benefits of draw stops, releases, bubble levels, or peep sights. Repeatable alignment is entirely dependent on our body's skeletal structure being manipulated into an optimal position. The better I get as a shooter, the easier it is to pick up a cold bow and be accurate, but it's still very perishable.Thanks Trumpkin. Seems listening to you and other traditionals that it’s more perishable than compound shooting.
