Well I have, and some of it is up to 8% higher, while some of it is almost identical. I know weight does not directly equal capacity, but I have checked that. Guess I need to fill cases with water.
Also, the 7.62 brass is large primer vs small primer 6arc. Would that contribute?
Ok so I have a batch of a couple of different name brands of 7.62 brass than I have converted to 6arc. However, when I get anywhere near (~1-2grs) a load that I normally use in 6arc brass I start blowing primers in the 7.62. This happens across multiple name brands of 7.62.

I’ll add to the group though, I’ve had GREAT success with 25-26 gr Lever with 73-77 SMK, TMK, and eld-m. My go-to is 25.5 for all of those. Accuracy seems to be best at 25.5-26, but I start getting noticeably worse ejector marks after 25.5. My measure is sitting at 25.5 Lever right...
I’ve been shooting the 73eld-ms & 75 bthps with better accuracy results than 77tmk/smk. Also the Hornady are cheaper and can be found locally, so I actually choose those over the sierras
Specifically looking at .224-75gr, .243-105gr, and .308-168gr (or 175)
I know ELDs are pretty widely accepted for the performance on game, but I can only find spotty references to the BTHPs performance on game. Looking at these bullets out of a 223, 6arc, or 308 gas gun. Does anybody know or...
Maybe you said and I missed, but have you done this with Hornady powder measure? I have the same measure and wanted to do the same thing, but my scale only goes to .1, so I would have to do a LOT of throws to get the data I’m interested in. Edit: interested in Hornady with leverevolution*
I’d be willing to help you put it together.
Only thing I would add is MSRP price. I realize that could get confusing, but it’s a big part of most peoples decision
Is there a running list of tested scopes and whether they passed or failed?
I’ve read through a lot of the evals, but I’m just talking about a list of what passed and failed? Would be really helpful when looking for new scopes.
Glad I skimmed through all the bs, and didn’t ask this same question twice now… does this same concept hold true even for barrel burners?
