Norma makes good brass but what's better about ADG is it'll withstand more abuse from hotter/higher pressure loads without giving up primer pockets. Certainly doesn't make Norma bad brass but it's just not quite as tough, with regard to holding primer pockets, as ADG or Lapua.

To me it is. I've used Norma and ADG in the 300 WSM and much prefer the ADG.

Is it worth $2 a shell?

Yes. Considering WW is priced at $1.50 per when it is even available (which is never) and this brass is easily 2X as good. If you treat it right, you should get 10+ loads on each piece, so that ends up being $0.20 per shot.
