    Easton Deep Six FMJ

That's good to hear as I spoke to an Easton tech as well and they told me .330 was the stiffest. Sounds like your guy is better connected.

    Easton Deep Six FMJ

According to Easton, they will not have a .300 spine.

    Easton Deep Six FMJ

I called Easton and they told me that the stiffest DS FMJ is .330, but they will be producing an Axis shaft in .270 spine.

    Tuning vs. super tuning?

If it is a binary, you won't be able to do much to fix cam lean. It comes with that type of cam system, so are much worse than others. Only way to really reduce it is by shimming, which can be tricky and only for the advanced. My New Breed has very minimal lean for a binary, but my Strother had...

    Tuning vs. super tuning?

Yes, as long as your cams are timed and synched. Also improper DL can impact tears.

New arrows punching through target... suggestions?

Agree, 18-1. I'm hard on BH targets and quickly shoot them out. I even got me a free 18-1 within the year as I shot that out, but they fought me even though it was in about 6 pieces and I emailed them pics. LAS took care of that, great CS. The VAP style of shafts penetrate significantly more in...

The next BIG breakthrough in archery?

Bowhunting and bows are supposed to be primitive. Most bows are far from that though. I hunted with a longbow most of my life and do now also hunt with a compound. I like technology as much as the next guy, but enough is enough IMO. There are always crossbows for those who want 400 FPS and still...

    Broadhead tuning

I know most recommend to chase FP's, but sometimes it works the opposite. If your BH's hit left, you will most likely have a right tear in paper and that usually means to move your rest to the left, especially if you have a binary. Just saying that sometimes it works the other way, so if no...

    Rocket Steelhead Broadheads...

Best mech out there IMO. Killed a bunch of deer with them. If not using my Exodus, I shoot them and like the 125 grain version. Wish the blades were of a little higher quality though instead on China made.

For those with barbed Exodus broadheads

Yes, they come out just fine.

    Blackbear with a trad bow?

I have killed 7 with my longbow. Lots of good bear outfitters all over CA. Alberta has a two bear limit which is nice.

    Black Eagle Rampage outserts painting?

A better option with the Rampage is the Firenock Aeroinsert. It is stronger with 7075 aluminum and anodized black. Only way to go with them IMO other than the HIT insert.

    Black Eagle Arrows

You get what you pay for. This is about BE shafts. You have already promoted those enough without hijacking other threads.

    Black Eagle Arrows

No that's not what I am referring to, those are the outserts. I'm referring to the Aeroinserts for the Rampage shafts or .204 ID shaft. Right now he has 7075 aluminum ones at 18 grains which are quite strong. He will soon have the same in stainless steel. I got that from the owner.

    Anarchy Broadheads

I have not hunted with them yet, but got some 100 grain 1.5" heads and they look nice and are very high quality. Very sharp and flew good out to 40 with my FPs. I may just use them this year.

    High KE setup broadheads

I also have 100# KE due to my 33.5" DL. I also use the .250 spine shafts and do a lot of BH testing. For fixed, I like the QAD Exodus, VPA or ST are great choices. The only mechs I will use are either the Steelheads in 125, the Spitfires or the Grave Digger with trocar tip.

    Black Eagle Arrows

I also shoot the BE Rampages in 250 spine. They are a great shaft. Firenock will be coming out with a new SS Aeroinsert which will weigh 50 grains for the .204 shaft. Should be a great option.

    Arrow prep

Best way to remove wrap IMO is with a semi-dull razor blade. Pull off the vanes with a pliers and the blade will take them right off and clean with acetone. I have tried the hot water and blow dryer, but the blade works the best and is also the fastest. Hold it at the proper angle and you won't...

    Yep, best way.
