WTB: 01-04 Toyota Tacoma

I am in the market for a clean 01-04 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4. TRD package is a plus but not a must.Price range is $10-15K. If anyone is selling theirs or sees one for sale please let me know. I live in Boise, Idaho but am looking in the surrounding area. Thanks.

Just some advice on your search as I did the same and bought an 04 in October of 13. Pay very close attention to the frames on the trucks you are checking out, especially in the cold weather/snow area you live in. The frames are awful about rusting, even with the undercoat Toyota provided as part of a recall. If the truck has the undercoating, the frame warranty is extended to 15 years, so that can give you some piece of mind. I still would not buy one if the frame shows rust beyond what would be considered normal for a 11-15 year old truck. Good luck with the search.

I'm from nebraska and every older vehicle here is prone to possible rust. I was in the Seattle area a week ago and was VERY impressed with the vehicles there, I didn't see any vehicles with rust on them. Even a 1990's Jimmy blazer with faded paint didn't have rust on it. Friends here in nebraska have gone down to to TX to pick up rust free vehicles with you being closer to Seattle might want to search in that area too.

Also any preference on auto/stick? Good luck with your search.
