Would you gamble on a gen 4 Tundra?

No their junk. And I’ve owned them all ..if you don’t believe me I’ll make someone a he’ll of a deal on 24 right now today!

Lots of comments about not liking the “looks” of the new gen Tundras. Do you folks making those comments really buy vehicles based on looks?

100 percent people do. Being very involved in the diesel world it would blow your mind the number of guys who spend 10k plus on wheel and tire set ups just for looks.

My 22 has 60k on it, no issues at all. Gas milage went to shit when i changed the stock tires.

I thought about selling my 06 Cummins since I always get crazy offers for it. Went and drove a new tundra. Not a chance I’m buying one. I get it spoiled with the diesel power but they are just gutless compared to what I have. My 06 dodges interior is better quality, sad for a 75k truck

You running 120 hp injectors and a screaming tune or something?

I drove a common rail cummins all across the west and unless there is a horse trailer hooked behind the new Tundra is way faster.

30 overs, 210 hp tune, 64mm charger. She moves when I want it to and still get 20-22mpg when I’m not beating on her.

Last summer my trans builder put it on his dyno, it’s upper 600s depending on the tune, absolute blast to drive. New gas trucks just suck when you’re used to driving diesels the last 20 years, let alone a properly built one.

Boy did I eat crow haha. First tundra I drove was an sr5 and hated it. Told the wife I was buying a newer truck to keep the Cummins in mint condition.

Ended up in a 25 limited trd off road. Blown away. Tons of power and the trans/ engine combo is the best I’ve driven. Truck prices are insane though. Sticker was 70k and change and I got 10k off haggling with dealers the last 2 weeks putting them against each other in the surrounding states.

Thought long and hard about what to do with the Cummins. Told the wife I want a project truck for me and the kids. This isn’t it. It’s turn key, show room condition.

Listed it for a stupid price thinking I would get haggled down. Sold for full ask in less then 12 hours. She’s in Kansas now. Guy flew half way around the us for it. Glad it went to a good home.

First mod I did on the tundra….10 year factory extended warranty. Soooo much tech on the new stuff, will give me piece of mind.
