Would you gamble on a gen 4 Tundra?

The Dodge automatics are trash.
Surprised you tried to put any extra power through it.
A truck shouldn't have an automatic anyway. Or computer screens.
Or trailer backup assist. Or proximity sensors.
:)

My Ford has backup and proximity sensors. Hate it with a passion

Actually the 48re when built is hands down the best auto to put power to the ground. Every one I know that makes any type of power, drag races, huals heavy, loves thier built 48.

Shifting gears towing sucks, loose all that boost. Fmvb is the way to go imo, no clutch, snatch and grab and loose no boost.

Greg A, Peterson, Levon, all have 3000hp trucks with built 48s. Can’t say many if any guys are using a stick over 600-800hp. They just can’t take the abuse and shift sooooo slow. Hate em.

No. Don't want anything with a turbo. Nothing but problems with all the brands.
I’m the complete opposite. Can’t live without boost, it’s addicting haha. Last 20 years everything has had a turbo that I drive, never had a single turbo failure. Have had a few trucks with compounds pushing 70lbs of boost and they lived a hard, beating of a life everyday.

Modern gas turbo engines are pretty dialed and relativity low boost as well. Very safe, very responsive, and instant power!
