Checking back in, it's been a while. I'm sitting at almost seven months post-surgery and working my way back slowly but surely. Last weekend was the 1st time I was able to shoot my bow since the beginning of last September, that was a huge milestone for me. I've been in the gym 4 days a week, but life's been busy and haven't been on here near as much.


Today's workout
5 rounds for time:
-400m run
-15 GHD sit-ups
-3 squat cleans, building from 70%
-1:30 rest
 
Strength
Every 90 seconds, for 18 minutes (3 sets of each):
Station 1 – Single-Leg Deadlifts x 8-10 reps @ 3011 (Left Leg)
Station 2 – Single-Leg Deadlifts x 8-10 reps @ 3011 (Right Leg)
Station 3 – Barbell Glute Bridges x 6-7 reps @ 20X1
Station 4 – 30 Sec Side Plank Hold each side

Conditioning
12 minute AMRAP:

6 Strict Pull-Ups
12 Alternating DB Hang Power Cleans 60# DB
12 Alternating DB Reverse Lunges 60# DB (Hold DB wherever you'd like: Front rack, farmers carry or back rack)
 
Upper body day, every set to failure:

Close-grip pull-downs: 2x8-10 + lengthened partials to extend set
Chest supported t-bar rows: 2x8-10 + two drop sets
Barbell shrugs: 2x 6-8
Machine chest press: 2x8-10
High-cable lateral raise: 2x8-10
reverse pec deck: 1x8-10
Cable crunches
30-minute stair stepper, zone 2-3 pace
 
7 miles (1100') with Tiny Elvis

Starting to pack for the Bob Marshall Wilderness Open this weekend. They moved it up a month, it's always been Memorial Day weekend—last year we had crazy hot weather. 30+° above normal :(
