Had to work this morning and then it was Senior Night tonight for wrestling, but I got a few hours of hiking in looking for moose sheds.

3mi, 1350vert and packing too much weight through super tight larch regen, downfall and brush.

The snow conditions suck to walk in, but it’s granular and dry enough that the snowshoes aren’t any better. Very, very nice cold sunny day though. Pic is from a quick break when we got out of the thick stuff.

5 miles (600') with my wife and Tiny Elvis yesterday on brisk afternoon; 5 miles (800') with Tiny Elvis this afternoon, on a slightly less brisk day
