I’m cutting way back in weight on squats for a while and going to go more circuit style.
Pull Up Ladder to 9
AMRAP in 60min. No rest
DB Dead/Burpee Box Jump- 60s/24in x 5ea
Barbell Dead- 135 x 5
Squat- 135 x 5
Fisio Sit Up- x 10
Treadmill Run- 7.0/5% x 1min
Was shooting for 20 times through and got 18. My wife has been doing the DB deads, combined with the burpee box jumps. They were definitely the gift of this workout.
Shoveled some heavy/wet glorious snow for an hour this morning. We got 5-6” of the wet stuff in town, hoping the surrounding mountains got double that.
5 miles (600’) with Tiny Elvis, always more of a workout with snow on the ground (probably double for him )
Short one today. Did 10 min walking backwards on the self-propelled treadmill set to max resistance.
Then 7 circuits no rest in between:
5 pull ups
10 push ups
10 step ups each leg with 50lbs
1 min plank
5 miles (900') with my wife and Tiny Elvis; looking (and feeling) much more like winter than spring—might be getting a few more dumps of snow later in the week.
