Oldest and I had a big hike planned. At 0430 this morning it was pouring and had been all night. We went to Plan B. He did a walk thru in some less brushy country. I did a short hike and got a nice big load of larch by myself then picked him up. He passed on another smaller bear.
Went to the gym this afternoon; I'd be lying if I said I wasn't gun-shy about doing deadlifts. I warmed up good and stuck to lighter weights. Hamstring held thankfully!

My usual 700vert PT hike this morning with 35lbs, then we ground 250lbs of burger.
My oldest went out this afternoon looking for the other side of a good buck he found and looking for a bear. He called an hour ago and was watching a good chocolate phase boar at 1200yds. Guess we’ll see what he decides.
Last night my boy got 150yds from the boar and figured he wasn’t as big as he thought and passed.
