Today, 7mi and 1300vert with the oldest. I picked up a year old raghorn on a north slope full of snow, brush and regen. I assumed I was the only animal dumb enough to be there. My boy found a 4x6 WT set on the way out.

Yesterday my boy had a great day. A set over 340 and a single that’d go 290. LONG, heavy day… it’s 6mi in before you even start looking.

Looks like you guys have been hitting hard- good job!

5 miles (800') today with Tiny Elvis.

81 miles (16,000') and 5 days in the Mazatzal Wilderness. We found out that other than the mainstem AZT trail (Mexico to Utah), the other trails in the Maza's were either completed gone or very poorly maintained at best. But it put us into some pretty neat country. The cost was high- lots of thick brush, almost all of it with thorns- plenty of cactus to keep you on your toes as well. I'll be picking spines out of my body for weeks to come :D

I picked a cactus out of my pant leg this morning! Looks like a good trip. AZ has some really cool country.
You are living the dream.
