3 miles scouting out a couple of places I had already scouted for an upcoming deer hunt with a buddy coming out this weekend- sadly my first choice is a no go, can't get into it (without a snowmobile :D), second choice I can make it to the first trailhead, but not the second- too much snow

That's what we are worried about with our elk hunt that starts next Saturday.

Good deal on the bull @sargent.
I got back last night. 3 bulls down, 1 tag left. My oldest called a raghorn out with about 10min of shooting light left, passed on him, gave the rifle to momma, doped for her, and let her shoot. Youngest smoked a raghorn as well. Pretty good week.
Guide last week… butcher this week. Plan over the next several weeks is to hunt most of the time, work VERY little, and hit the weights a few days a week.
