Just finished up a two day, approx. 23 mile, training hike with my son. We bagged 7 peaks, with the highest being 5,300’. We started at 1,700’ and finished at 1,900’. The only game we saw were, many marmots, two nice bull moose, and a little black bear. We had a little dusting of snow over the one night that we camped at 5,200’. All and all it was a great little hike and some nice father son time. Here’s a few pictures from the last couple days.

Is that revolver one of those ones that came in a bear protection kit with a pelican case and a book about ear attacks or did you find an orange grip elsewhere and put it on yourself?
No, I bought the grips after market, the stock grips are black. I think they’re pretty god awful, but I wanted something with as high of visibility as possible. If they made glow in the dark, I probably would have bought them instead.
