Please don’t kid yourself, that will not satisfy them. They will not be satisfied until there is no civilian firearms ownership. Look at what is happening in my country, Canada. (And many other former Commonwealth countries.) But for the 2A, you’d be in right about the same spot.

Australia comes to mind. They took the people guns, then you how they used their authority during the pandemic. People had no choice but to fall in line.

Couple products I found that could potentially work for guys like myself who were about to order SO stuff. The stove is a bit heavier, but could prpbably cut down some weight by shortening the pipe a bit. Still not much heavier than the SO. Could always go with the smith stove too. Anyone have any experience with these brands?

I've been following this thread from the start and thought long and hard about how to reply.
I'm still not quite sure how to compose my thoughts and put pen to paper but one thing I do know for sure is that the 2nd amendment is absolute.......you either support it or you don't and in my opinion, it shouldn't even be questioned.
As you all know in this day of the internet and social media, information runs rampant and one has to make an educated guess on what is true and what is not. We all hear of these companies who are anti gun, anti 2nd A, donate to this cause, donate to that cause, etc. Man, it's tough to know what is true.
I really do try and support companies and businesses who are pro gun, pro 2A and pro America. As others have said, it's impossible to keep up with all that....it would be a full time job.
I'm glad that Kevin came on and addressed this thread. One can either believe what he says or not believe him along with choosing to support Seek Outside or not.
Thank God we all have choices and the choice to believe how we wish. I admire people who are passionate about their beliefs even if I don't agree with them, BUT stand up for them when you need to. Period. I also don't believe in coincidences.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck......well you know, it's a duck.

Believe that wasn’t a staffer but was someone they paid for pr or something or was an influencer of sorts, believe Sitka let him go and stopped associating with said individual.

Did they move production to WY? Previously production was in CA with finish sewing in CO. Many companies use CA sew houses because of the amount of workers immigrating into that state with sewing skills.

Worth a quick investigation since the dig deep train is moving ahead at full steam.

The two podcasts aren't even close. Yes, they have the same guest, but the topics weren't the same. The Kifaru podcast was an attempt to let BHA explain who they are and why hunters and anglers should support them. This also was before Busse wrote his book. (I think BHA did a poor job) The SO podcast was to let an author promote his book that pushes for gun control.

I think for some of us, the issue isn’t that Kevin Timm has an opinion that differs from mine on some issues, it’s that in the face of criticism, he tried to cover his tracks.

I‘d assume I have more in common with Kevin than not, but I see it as a major character flaw to be critical of a certain concept or demographic, then not own it when it appears you could economically affected by it.
