I’m not a virologist. That said have a hard time believing that an unchecked virus is less likely than one lacking hosts to prosper in to mutate. The human body and viruses will always be at war to see which evolves faster. We have the distinct advantage of science giving us a leg up the last 100 years or so. I have no doubt viruses will eventually win again. To me Covid has been a test of how we will respond to a truly devastating virus, this is a test run and we have failed.

Hard for me to buy into this line of thought in general. Why bother vaccinating for anything? Is that the line of thought?

I think the line of thought is "unknown long term side effects of a new vaccine compared to unknown long term side effects of a virus." I think the long term side effects of other vaccines have been thoroughly enough understood to fully make the risk/reward calculus. I know plenty of people, the vast majority in fact, of those who haven't received a COVID-19 vaccine, have been vaccinated for other things. "People" are not anti-vaccine, they're anti experimental vaccine.

And their in lies the root of your problem. Stop watching ths news, do your own research.

Even if that were true and not the media pushing the narrative to demonize the unvax'd...does that say anywhere that COVID isn't spreading through vax'd and masked also? No it does not. It simply says the more serious cases are in the un-vax'd, which is also debatable.

So with that in mind, that anyone can transmit the virus, regardless of vax status, then why is it an employers or agencies decision who is mandated to be vax'd? Shouldn't an individual be able to assess his own risk and make an informed decision?

It goes back to the false narrative that the Vax will stop the spread, it simply has not and will not.
You and I have thought very similarly on this. My wife not catching this 2 different times that she should have has me questioning everything again. She got the J&J vaccine due to work early this year. She has since been around, and had to care for, 3 different family members with Covid on 2 separate week long stints. She hasn't gotten so much as a sniffle. Maybe it's just luck? Idk what to believe anymore but I'm sure going to be evaluating everything over the next 6 months while my natural immunity does it's job.

We are currently on round two. I had some fatigue, but never actually got sick, just took it easy for a few days. Kid had normal cold symptoms (snot faucet that turned into cough). Wife had stomach cramps, cough, headache, fatigue, loss of taste/smell.

The first time we caught it, I was sick for a solid 10 days with headache, sore throat, fatigue, and tight chest. The other two had headaches, stomach cramps, and ran a slight temperature for 24-48 hours, before they were back to normal.

We chose not to get vaccinated, since we were previously infected and in good health. Currently at work we have previously infected, vaccinated people, getting covid, so that exciting!

I don't think the current vaccine(s) will prove to be very efficacious over time, as the virus continues to circulate (in vaccinated/non-vaccinated people). Time will tell, just hope people are still plugging away to find new/better treatments for the folks who are hospitalized.

I had it back in October. Had a bit of body aches for a day and a slight loss of taste for a bit. Would honestly rather have Covid than a cold if the symptoms stayed the same

Since the Pfizer vaccine is now fully approved do Moderna and Johnson & Johnson lose their emergency use authorization?

The data out of Israel is not so comforting.
That is all based on one's perspective. The rate of transmission amongst the triple vaccinated in Israel is 0.2% so it seems like they have come to a pretty good conclusion on how to address COVID as it is currently presenting. That, in combination with the full FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine, should provide significant comfort to most.
So what happens in the long run if they find out the Vaccine causes increased risk of infection from variants and worsening symptoms or that the Vaccinated are a main driver of mutations? Do they then stop covering them on insurance or restrict those people?
What leads you to believe any of that may be determined? From everything I have read, all that is contrary to what has been learned to this point. Vaccines have been demonstrated to reduce infection and decrease the risk of severe disease or death from infection. By reducing the rate of infection and shortening the length of time the infected remain so, the vaccines reduce the virus's ability to replicate and hence mutate.

why would that happen? They will just continue on until they receive full approval.

And Non-FDA approved drugs can be used for a very long time without ever having been approved. For example Stamaril, which is a yellow fever vaccine, was approved only as an experimental drug here in the states when the FDA-approved YF-Vax ran out for a while. It’s been used overseas for decades but when I got it because YF-Vax was out, it was considered experimental. I do not think they are pursuing full FDA approval now that YX-Vax is back after 4 years.

Although the MSM has bought this action hook, line and sinker as a full approval by the FDA for Pfizer, upon further inspection that is not actually the case.

The liability protection under the EUA continues for all vaccines produced prior to the "approval" and in order to get full approval Pfizer still owes the FDA a final report on Mycordarditis and Pericarditis that is due in 2025.

They also owe the FDA a final report on issues of taking the vaccine during pregnancy by June of 2023.

Also, no tests have been done WRT fertility.

So, in order to be fully approved those reports have to be submitted and accepted by the FDA. Also, the FDA approval would have removed liability protection that was afforded under the EUA but the EUA is still in effect for all remaining inventory.

Until recently I had not been impacted by COVID. Of all my friends and family one couple caught it, they turned out well.

In the last month I’ve had 2 friends pass from It. 1st was a working mom with 3 little kids. Because she decided she knew best and refused the vax, She’s dead. Now with out her income the children will grow up poor. With a father trying to be both parents. They went from middle income house hold with loving parents and a very bright future. Now? They’ll be low income with a struggling single parent, their future prospect have been reduced greatly. Why would a mother do that to her children?

So senseless they’d both be here if they’d been vaccinated. They made a mistake they can’t recover from. Decimating they families. Causing everyone around them to needlessly suffer.

Good to see the liability protection will be removed once current inventory is used up. I’ll check back then.
Kinda…sorta approved.

Read that letter earlier, didn’t consider that product manufactured prior to the authorization date was still covered under eua…

I’m not well read enough to say if it is normal for “full” approval to include requirements for further study.

On the termination of eua for other vaccines, I read the regs that provide the framework for eua, and one of the requirements is that there is no other approved countermeasure available for the pathogen. Now that there is, could Pfizer push for removal of eua from competing vaccines? Bad optics for sure, but Idk, not a lawyer.

IMO...The biggest myth being perpetuated right now is that the vaccine (and masks) prevents infection and transmission.

This whole "pandemic of the unvaccinated" propaganda from the left is irresponsible and factually untrue.
The vax doesn't prevent transmission nor does it prevent one from contracting the rona. It does lower the viral load that one can transmit or experience, which in turn can significantly lessen ones symptoms. I haven't seen or read the contrary but, I also get my info from medical sources I am familiar with and trust, not the msm. Masks need to go away, completely.

This go round the + rona people I have personally dealt with are 10 fold compared to the first wave. They have been from mild to call your priest. None have been vaxxed. Small sample set of course.

Here is a full breakdown of the "approval" letter from FDA written by the "inventor" of MRNA therapy (and well sourced)...seems like a solid bait and switch operation to me...not to mention the head of the FDA under Trump now holds a seat on Pfizers board:

I had something close to bronchitis about a month before Corona virus and covid 19 terms began to circulate. I was down for 5 days but never lost taste/smell. My wife had symptoms of a cold. Did we have Corona? I don't know.

What I do know is that I'm not getting a vaccine until it effects my ability to put food on the table.

So when do we quit moving the efficacy goalpost? A month ago two doses and all was good. Now three doses and all is good. In my another 8 mos will it still be a matter of perspective when 4 doses and all is good?

Every time a new virus pops up we are going to have to rely on an “untested” vaccine. I for one am grateful this is not something like Ebola that spreads like covid.

Suddenly half the population gives a crap about what they put in the body…..

Probably when the virus stops mutating in a way that diminishes the effectiveness of the prior vaccination regiment.

I had it, got it from wife who got it at a meeting at work with a bunch of folks.
They started feeling bad got tested, tested positive. We started feeling bad, tested positive. We had mild flu like symptoms for 2 to 3 days, never had fever, but felt like we had a mild one.

I honestly have worked numerous times feeling a lot worse than when I had covid, but because it was covid, I had to miss work for 2 weeks, lol.

I got the shot a few months back because I wanted to travel. Needed it to go to Virgin Islands, will need it in several months when I go hunting in Canada.
