It's not approved for human use but the article I read said there were no adverse effect from using it.

So that’s enough, cool. Someone should clearly write an article saying similar things about Covid vaccines. Anyone who says “no adverse affects” about ivermectin knows very little about it’s side effects in humans. If you gave the number of people who have had the Covid vaccines a course of ivermectin over the same time period, it would probably get pulled from the market.

I bought some yesterday from the local feed store to start as a prophylactic. Follow the weight instructions on the tube. My store had many boxes and no warning signs.
Many stores are posting the fuhrer's warning about using the anti-viral for covid.

You just can't help yourself.
Just hoping no Rokslider ends up taking a fatal dose of a livestock drug due to their politics. I wouldn’t bat an eye if any of these got COVID and went to a doctor who prescribed the version of ivermectin approved for human use in an experimental capacity to treat COVID, but to take animal meds as a prophylactic outside the care of a physician strikes me as Darwin-award winining stupid.

Ivemectin has been safely used in humans for years.

Nice CNN quality soundbite with 0 actual critical thought put in it.

I saw the horse paste and honestly thought it was a joke. This paragraph from the webmd article is interesting;

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Sounds a lot like the EUA for the rona vax.

The problem is there is no money to be made by pharma with ivermectin. Patients could be treated for 1$ a day. My BIL is a PA and he had a colleague resign from the clinic he works at this week because they would not let them prescribe it. Has been approved for human use since 87. Copied from the article linked below: "several clinical studies have started to show its antiviral activity against viruses ranging from HIV and the flu to Zika and West Nile."https://m.jpost.com/health-science/...vid-19-could-be-treated-for-under-1day-675612

I can see how that dude would not be able to prescribe ivermectin for covid since it isn't approved to treat covid.

That’s called off label Prescribing and is perfectly legal for doctors to do.

As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t have viagra for wenis problems if it wasn’t for the off label prescribing. It was originally some sort of cardiovascular med.

I’m sure it is now approved for ED, but it wasn’t originally.

I find it ironic that people who are balking at the vaccines because they are not FDA approved are using the livestock version of ivermectin which is not FDA approved for human use let alone as a treatment for COVID.
The apple flavor is my favorite though
Honey oat taste nasty

The wife and I both had it in January, it's possible I had the variant early July with a severe sinus infection and some weird looking mucus. Tested the first time but not the second. Neither vaxed nor plan on doing it. I do believe there is credibility to the Ivermectin theory as I have friends that have used it as a preventative and as a treatment with good results. It seems one can pick and choose articles to push their position either way but the numbers seem to be saying it works.

Why yes, yes we are; wife and I are both vaxxed. Moderna x2.
We've been pragmatic about all of this 'rona and about receiving Satan's semen. Wife is in the high Arctic today doing consult$ for Eskimo natives and elders. Do you think they care if she's vaccinated?
We get the flu shot every year too, although I realize that isn't mRNA-derived.

My concern is getting caught in another country in quarantine. I'd do whatever I think helps to avoid that. Right now, it's Zinc, D3, NAC, Vit C and a weekly shot of horse paste.

Party on Garth.

Don’t need to Google, webMD, or cnn. I don’t get any of my information or though from any of them. Mine comes from 7 years of education and 10 years of clinical practice. Politics don’t enter into the process, either.

Your friend the PA also needs his supervising doc to be OK with it.

If ivermectin cured or prevented Covid, do you really think for one second that Fauci or anyone else in the MSM would admit to it with BILLIONS of $ for commercial (non-FDA approved) vaxing on the line?

C'mon, man.

Sure the gov intentionally lost hundreds of billion dollars in tax revenue last year to make a bill on the free for everyone vaccine. Get real

I don't put a whole lot of faith in the FDA who knowingly let Bayer offload HIV-infected blood for transfusions to 3rd world countries or Johnson & Johnson who knew for years that their powder was causing cervical cancer in women, but hey call me crazy.

Here is an article that is well researched on Ivermectin and it certainly isn't from someone on the right. Matt Taibbi, formerly of The Rolling Stone fame, is anything but what I would call conservative.

And the one below that is regarding Chloroquine that showed it stopped SARS coronavirus in its tracks, and it just happens to be from the NIH, so sometimes (albeit rarely) google IS your friend:
