don’t forget the vitamin D. It’s more of a hormone than a typical vitamin. It’s hard to believe after a year of this crap our vaunted health professionals are not more forthcoming with immune-strengthening supplements.

Right?

Thanks guys, sound advice. We've been all over the zinc, D3 and mutli for the last year at least.
Fauci and these other 'professional' creeps would drop dead before offering holistic approaches to this bullshit...

One thing I found last year, that worked for me. When I first got covid, i felt a tight chest (my only symptom) and started taking some of my Wilderness Athlete Altitude Advantage i had. Tight chest went away in 2 days or so.

I figured if the supplements help get oxygen into your blood, that should help if you got covid. So both times I got covid I took it.

Pretty sure the wife had it in February of 2020. When I got my first dose of Pfizer I had the effects as if it was my second dose. Per some studies that could signify that I had the rona previous to being vaccinated. If that is the case, I was asymptomatic unlike my wife who was sick as a dog.

Working in a hospital trough all of this is where I learned about the supplements to boost the immune system response and I still continue with it today.

I’ve had it for a week. Still have taste/smell but I can’t shake this busted ass body/head feeling. Not taking any supplements but I’ve been sitting in my he sun 30-60 minutes a day.

where do you get ivermectin and how much do you take? I’ve heard something about horse dewormer. Gotta say, that seems odd.

I got it in January of this year. Went duck hunting with a friend and when we got home his wife just got sick and he said he wasn’t feeling good either. It hit me a few days later but it was nice to know I didn’t get anyone sick as I didn’t go anywhere else after.

It wasn’t too bad. Flu like for 4-5 days. Tired, headaches, sore muscles, fever. Worst part is I missed a few duck hunts and since we were WFH I was still working. After a week I was back to normal aside from lost my smell for 6 months and it’s now returning.

I had it in early August last year. I have allergies every day of my life so my only abnormal symptoms were the loss of taste/smell. Nothing besides that for me. Two weeks later, everything was back to normal. Cleaning out dog kennels sure was nice for those 2 weeks.

Wife had it past two weeks. Mild to medium symptoms. Lucky I suppose. I didn’t catch it while living with her for the two weeks. Tested 3 times each. All results consistent.

I had it about 3 weeks ago. I went to a wedding and a couple days later I started showing mild symptoms (tired, little bit of a cough) so I got tested twice with the rapid antigen test. Both came back negative. Symptoms generally improved until about 5 days from the wedding and that’s when I lost smell (came back within a week) and got a PCR test which came back positive. I’m healthy and young so it wasn’t bad, the biggest thing was feeling tired for a couple of days. Still worked out at home and did everything I wanted to without issue.

My wife and I had it in April. Lost taste and smell at first then the normal tired, headache, body aches for about 10 days. I never had a fever and was outside everyday day shooting my bow getting ready for TAC. My wife had a fever and had on rough afternoon of just laying in bed. We were lucky neither of us had to go to the doctors (besides testing) or take any medication. Our smell is coming back but definitely isn’t as good as it used to be. I’m in the wildlife control profession and deal with skunks and dead animals on a regular basis so I am telling my self the lack of smell Is a short term blessing.

I had the JJ shot 4 months ago since my job requires me to travel randomly. I wanted to try and avoid bringing it home to my wife and and two teenage kids who had not been vaccinated.

Well three weeks ago my 15 year old daughter gets it 101ish fever for a few days but she was back to normal in a week, next up the wife she had symptoms for about 10 days with 3.5 where she could not get out of bed, nausea, fever and bad cough I was getting scared at the peak for her. We were in contact with her doctor and even had some antibody treatment lined up right as she turned the corner but still has no taste or smell. Then my 17 year old son average cold for 5 days he is back to normal and being annoying taking all my tools and hunting gear.

My family is all active, athletic and very good health with no smoking or drinking and we eat good.

My take on Covid is it an odd thing it came from a lab and everybody handles it differently. I rolled the dice and put my trust in another lab to hopefully prep by immune system for when I do catch it. The odds making paid off and I had some very mild symptoms for 2 days at the beginning where I was a little chilled and felt off but nothing the slowed me down. The vaccine did the trick to allow me to take care of the family and keep working while everyone was sick

i had it few weeks ago after my trip from a big city (work). Body pains, chills, loss of taste for 3-4 days.
To counter it, i took tylenol, ate very spicy food and went on about my day.

Glad to hear all you guys have had a relatively easy go with this. As of this morning, my symptoms are still pretty mild. Had some chills and body aches earlier but nothing a hot shower couldnt fix. I guess I should add I’m 35, in pretty good shape and not vaccinated.

It makes sense that most of us on here handle this well. We mostly eat wild game and are always training for the mountain and are pretty health conscious overall. I kinda thought I’d read a couple horror stories on here but I’m glad that’s not the case.

Now for the remaining nine days of quarantine…I got a free pass for Netflix at the hotel, any good documentaries that you guys would recommend?

Buddy of mine just got the delta strain after getting the Moderna vaxx. He said it was rough going for 3 days, but after that it was just body aches and a little cough.

I'm pretty sure we also had it February 2020. Fever, aches, really bad cough. 10 days total, 2 days really bad. I had it the worst, wife wasn't as bad. Kids had mild fever and sniffles for 2 days.

My wife had a reaction to the first dose of the vax as well. I'm not getting it since we have antibodies.

Most of my family were early adopters last July confirmed with COVID test at onset and followed up with antibody test.

Me-40 yrs old loss of taste and smell with a fever and cold like symptoms for about 4 days

Wife-39 yo and probably the healthiest of all of us. She had a fever for ~7 days with a bad cough and low O2. She had the worst symptoms and compared it to a mild flu case. She is an RN

Daughter- 8 yo, had a fever for 2 hours then was back to normal

Son- 13 yo with health issues, had a fever for a couple days with loss of smell

Father in law- 62 yo, overweight and diabetic. Low grade fever for a few days and a loss of appetite. He said that a year later he has still not fully regained his appetite and has lost 38 pounds.

Mother in law- 63 yo, loss of smell and low grade fever for a week

Dad- 57 yo (I was an accident), has severe heart issues and still smokes like a freight train. We were worried about him catching it due to his health. He finally did this spring and had a low grade fever with cold like symptoms for 5 days then was back to normal.
