Which 6mm?

6gt and 6 dasher, you're stuck wirh dbm aics or aw style mags, all 10-12rd capacity. There are zero 5 Rd mags. A creedmoor hawkins hunter mag with the arc/grendel kit installed is a possibility with 6 dasher.

I've heard of some guys running magpul aics pmags successful with the gt, and those could work for 5rds. Neither of these cases will feed bdl style off the feed lips of an action, and wyatts center feed box is designed to run short mags.

6X47 6XC or 6CM, will feed in damn near everything.

You have the Hawkins (they made a standard spacer kit) and AI/primal rights 5 round mag kit available for shorter dasher options.

So far, I have had zero issues with MDT and AI/primal rights kits.

For a tikka Waters makes a 6 round br/dasher mag.

I've shot a decent amount of Dasher, I'm on barrel #9 currently and #10 is waiting in the wings. Even did a light one to hunt with once.

If I was going to have one light gun to practice with that had to have decent barrel life too, the Dasher/BR/ARC cases have something to be said for them. In reality, I have multiple "practice" rifles, and think the 6 Creed makes more sense for my hunting rifle (especially to keep velocity up with shorter barrels). 6 PRC/SAUM/UM if you really want a hot rod, but even an 18" 6 Creed should hold 1800 fps with good bullets to around 800 yds in my atmosphere.

The Magpul AICS .308 mags work wonderfully with 6GT for me.

I'm also running 10rd Accuracy International mags which work perfectly and see no reason why the 5rd wouldn't work as well.

Waters Rifleman also makes a 6rd GT sized AICS mag

There are heaps of options for 5rd in AICS pattern at least.. About the only one that doesn't work with GT is the old style MDT mags. Apparently their new style does.

I wasn't aware of a 5rd aics/Primal kit.

I've run 6gt on Impact, tl3, origin, Fuzion, Cous De Grace and Archimedes. The only 10rd mags I could get to run flawlessly on the crf action were the ARC aics mags, but when in very humid or wet conditions the follower hangs up, causing problems. I run aw and gray ops on the TL3 and CDG, work great. I could never get aics mdt with or without binder plate to run, but these were some the first gen.

Just got done messing around with my tl3 6gt, tried magpul 5d pmag: success,
mdt 3rd poly mag: success
Accurate mag 3rd steel aics: success
MDT 5rd poly: no success even after messing with spring and follower.

So yes there are some 4 and 5rd options out there I'm seeing after playing with everything. Too bad mdt doesn't make a 5rd version of their gt mag. Poly pags are what I try to hunt with as they make far less noise than metal mags.
