What's your standby Whitetail hunting knife?

The Buck 110 is hard to beat. So is the Victorinox Lamb Skinner, Victorinox 6" boning knife, Victorinox Rabbit Knife, Havalon Piranta, LT Wright Small Northern Hunter, Esee cr 2.5, Esee AGK.
 
Past few years have been a Steep Country…hoping that this year will be the Dixie Zipper @hereinaz has coming down the pipe. Excited to put that thing to work
 
I’ve used a Buck 112 Ranger for years. About 4 years ago a started using a gerber replaceable bladed knife when caping.
 
I love my case guthook hunter. Great for field dressing but not great for cutting around the anus, but if you use the buttout tool with it then it works great
 
An orange one, or i will loose it. The folding buck light bright orange has been with me since I lost the last folding knife more the 25 years ago. I
 
It’s to each his own, but the liver is nothing like beef liver. It’s more mild tasting. Steve Rinella talked about how to eat venison heart. You wrap the heart in caul fat and grill it. It’s fantastic and makes digging through guts worthwhile.
Amen. Deer heart has become one of my favorites.

Was using a Buck Fixed Blade 102 but switched to a SOG Fixed Blade ACE Model. Works for my time gutting out a Whitetail Deer.
Others I hunt with use a Morakniv Companion Fix Blade Stainless has a Hunter Orange Plastic Sheath that the knife snaps into. Easy to find when you are gutting after dark.
Nothing Special though.
