I'm 100% (1 for 1). She's 6 but absolutely loves it. Her younger brothers are expressing serious interest in it too. Time will tell how things shake out. I'll probably pick up a doe tag next year so that I can take them on an easy hunt designed just for them. She asked Santa for a "real bow and arrow" this year. I'm excited to pick her up one of these new youth bows with ridiculous adjustability.

I have a daughter (26) and two sons (25 and 23). They all tried hunting and fishing as kids, but the youngest boy never got into it. My daughter and older son fish and hunt as much as they can. Next year my daughter is planning to draw a tag for her first western hunt with us. All of my kids love being outdoors and even shooting guns. My youngest doesn't just have patience for hunting.

100%. 2/2 and both are deer slayers 5/5 in as many years. They also both love to fish.

My oldest went on her first DIY elk hunt with me in October, and although we didn't punch her tag, she is hooked!

Super proud of my girls and I'd put them up against any boys their age and most men.

first of all, congrats!!

My 4yo daughter is excited for the day she gets to join me. Right now I hunt state land near a buddy’s cabin, so it really isn’t the right environment. Also being a beginner myself I’d like to get a few more seasons under my belt before taking the kids (also have a 1yo son.

hoping to buy some private land in the next 5-8 years to set up some comfortable blinds to hunt from with the kids!

I have two daughters. My 15 year old loves it and is constantly talking about it. My 7 year old can’t wait for the day she “gets to hunt with daddy” as she puts it. I can’t wait either.

100%. 1 for 1 on the daughter. She has shot elk, deer, antelope and pheasants.

2 for 2 on the sons. Both are totally addicted like me.

I’ve got a daughter that is 18. She is in her first year of college. She comes home every weekend and goes hunting. She is ate up with it. She has killed some nice deer and turkeys. Loves to fish as well. Has started figuring out what streams have trout up near school. Goes fishing up there when not in school or doing school work.
On a side note: my son is 16 and has no desire to hunt. Haha. He likes to fish a little.

My daughter isn’t quite there yet, but at 6 loves the kids bow and shooting the .22 (with help). We’ll see what happens as she grows, but I sure am hoping she’ll become my hunting partner.

Both of my daughters (now grown) liked to go hunting with me, both like to eat wild game but neither wanted to hunt. I didn't put any pressure on them, but both knew if they wanted I'd be there to help them out.

They still enjoy hearing about my hunts and when home, look forward to eating wild game.

So I guess I'm 0% in the hunting daughter category :D

bolded the important part.

My 5 year old daughter loves helping dad dress the harvests, be it goose, squirrel, rabbit, deer, etc etc. she loves camping and playing in the creeks too. My focus is making it fun and enjoyable, no pressure environments. shed like to have her own hunting stuff. Heads out with me with her "pack" (bedazzled/sparkled unicorn backpack).

I cant wait for the day they both want to come with me. I wont be in hunting mode full on, itll be memories for me, and them.

(my boy (3 in feb) only wants to do all things bear hunting. play bear hunting, camp with "bears", hunt bears, all tracks are bear tracks etc. neither are afraid of playing with the harvests)

Oldest started out hunting with me but decided she didn't like it after killed her first deer. She still likes to shoot but doesn't want to hunt. Youngest daughter is all in and if I am in the woods she wants to be there
