My go to rifle depends on species and range. Predators, antelope get this 223ai with 75gr amax. Blueprinted by LRI 700 with 1:7 bartlein in a Mcmillan wearing a meopta scope.

Deer and most of my elk get the legendary arms 6.5 creedmoor wearing a Bushnell LRHSI scope shooting 142 accubond LR.

And anything with much distance gets the 300 Norma improved shooting 212 ELDX at 3212fps Manners stock, proof barrel, badger action wearing a Vortex scope.

If I know I’m hiking a long ways or a lot of elevation I’ll take a Kimber Montana or sig cross but the above get the most use.

I seem to always grab this 308 whether I’m hunting mule deer, whitetails or predator calling. Just bought a new, lighter weight 6.5. It might turn into my new hiking friend.

Rem 700 youth model, I put in a Brown's stock & converted to BDL bottom metal, bored to .358
It's light, handy, accurate as anything & just does everything i need it to, really well.

Is that a 35 Whelen or a 308 necked up?
