Since 2018 its been this one and only this one, for the most part. Definitely the primary one. Cooper Model 92 with my unique last name as the serial #, 280AI. NF NXS 2.5-10x42. It has taken my first elk (avatar), pronghorn, and mule deer. Also piles of whitetail, hogs, and coyotes. I have a Wyoming Arms 4 Squared TI suppressor in FDE in jail, should have it soon.

Speaking of spending money. How do you like that harvester evo? Been looking at getting another suppressor, and that one has peaked my interest.

I absolutely love it. It’s super lightweight and does the job exceptionally well. I’ve only used it on my .308 so far.

Also a big fan of SilencerCo in general. I was dumb and shot the baffles and end cap of one of my 5.56 cans, just didn’t tighten it down all the way. (Attached it a bit too quick) I emailed them and asked how much for repair considering the damage was entirely misuse, and they said they’d cover it no problem. When they sent my can back to me they threw in a free suppressor cover too (was around $100 on their site at the time!)

I have the silencerco harvester and it's been a great suppressor, but I've been wanting a shorter suppressor.

I'll play along....

Montana Rifle Co X3 300wm
Handloaded 180gr Nosler Partitions
Leupold X5HD w/CDS & alumina flip caps
(A lot of grief on RS on the X5HD, this one works great and I can't bring myself to change it)
This combo has been carried thousands of miles, and taken a dump truck load of game for me, from elk, to bighorn sheep, deer, oryx, coyotes, etc etc

I got mine from my grandpa who got in the 1950s. Killed my first buck an bunch of other deer with it. Will never not use it for whitetails. Someday I’m gonna shoot an elk with it because he always wanted to and never did.

The 760 “gameblaster” aka the “dutchie machine gun” lol

A new one for me this year. Kimber Hunter in .308, removed some stock gel, cut the barrel to 19", and topped with a Leupold VX-3i 3.5x10x40. I use a safari sling to carry the rifle and to apply slight downward pressure while shooting off a tripod. I put about 450 rounds through it this year practicing and was able to take a young bull elk with it in October. With the safari sling and four rounds of ammo, it weighs 6.5 pounds and has been a dream to carry.

Which safari sling do you use?

Savage 110 UL, 30-06 with hybrid. It’s looong as it sits now. But quiet, light and a pleasure to shoot.
TBAC Ultra 5 is in jail…

I’m hoping it’s going to be this one for years to come. Never owned, much less shot, a 30/06 but couldn’t pass on this one. Christensen Arms Ridgeline. I was gifted a Sightmark Presidio 3-18x50 LR2 last week and asked to try it and give a review, pros and cons.

I slapped my Dead Air Sandman L on it, and as it sits, still lighter than the Begera 308 and Savage Axis 2 300 BLK I was shooting.
