What did you do in the reloading room today?

spent about 30-40 minutes looking at results from loads and figuring out where to go with the next charges for a 25 Creed. Wrote down some charges to load and go shoot this weekend.

I worked up a good load for my Sauer 100 6.5 CM using the Sierra 142-Matchking X.

22” Sauer OEM barrel
1:8.7” twist

Sierra 142-grain Matchking X
H4350 41 grains
Federal LR primers
Once-fired Hornady brass
2.8" COAL

I loaded up 60 of those.

Then I started to work on 140-grain Partitions. So far, I’ve had no luck at all with them. That group marked in green above is the worst, but none of them have been great. Any tips for loading Partitions?

Edit - I’ve tried six different loads between 39 and 41 grains of H4350 with the 140-grain partitions, and a couple of seating depth changes. One 5-shot group was promising, but then the next five ruined it. Most of my 5-shot groups look like the Big Dipper. I want them to look more like the Pleiades.

I've been liking the 6 ARC quite a bit lately. Currently working with an AR15 and Tikka bolt rifle both in 6 ARC.

For the AR15, I prepped another 100 pieces of new Starline brass and have a pressure test loaded with 70 gr Nosler ballistic tips and Leverevolution.

For the Tikka bolt, I have 100 pieces of Alpha primed and ready to go. Loaded up a pressure test for the 95 TMK and 107 TMK, both with Leverevolution.

Will hopefully have some time to test these out this weekend. My Rokstok should finally be here this week, so I'll get a move on working up a load in the Tikka. Wyoming black bear season is just around the corner.

Finished testing and then loaded 350 rounds of 45 Colt with w231 and a 255gr Xtreme plated for my new (to me) toy, a S&W 625-6 mountain Gun.

The old warhorse will be accompanying me on my upcoming turkey/trout extravaganza as a sidearm.

Kids have been busy playing with friends, so I figured it was a good time to start chip g away at 750 rounds of 62 gr FMJs for my 556.

Doing bulk with 556, 300 BLK, and 357/38 is making me think I may want to try out a progressive press!

Decided to try 69 TMKs out in the Rustington 700.. About 10 years ago I shot SMKs in this rifle but had no data. I know it shoots 68 BTHP exceptionally well with Varget.

Picked 2.3 at random as a starting COAL.

Loaded a few different charge weights from mid to max in half grain increments just looking for velocity numbers. Can’t complain with the groups, yeah yeah yeah I’ll shoot 10 round groups to prove accuracy.
