What did you do in the reloading room today?

I forgot we finally setup our reloading area also.

Learning a lot from you guys. Tips, tricks, what’s needed and not. Starting simple and will see what else we need for comfort and time efficiency. Only so much time and I much prefer hunting and shooting to reloading, but really can’t wait to start rolling my own and doing load dev for a couple rifle/cartridge combos. Thanks again yall. That’s 100 times better than anything I had starting out. Nice set up!

We are very fortunate. My son interned last year at Hornady, and they taught him a lot as well as took EXTREMELY good care of him. Realistically we only had to buy a few smaller things and components (bullets, powder, primers), benches, and I’ve been saving brass for 20+ years for these days to come. We are proud to support them regardless of how anyone else feels. Can’t thank them enough. 1000x + for Hornady in my book.

Also on the plus side, we can get a lil tech support if he calls some of the guys back there if we need it. No substitute for y’all though.

I think you may have misunderstood. You're area looks clean and ordely compaired to my reloading area. Looking good!
Oh no, I understood lol. It’s only clean cuz we just set it up. Probably not gonna look as nice after we get some time under our belts. Hopefully it stays nice, but dang my kids are unfortunately not as organized as I. Appreciate the compliment truly though.

Tried reloading 45ACP for the first time on a progressive.

Yikes.
Only put 10 together while I was getting all the measurements and powder thrower dialed in.

They all seemed to feed well when cycled from the mag. We shall see…

Went with the following recipe:
230gr round nose berrys plated bullets.
5.5gr CFE Pistol
CCI 300 large pistol primers
Starline brass.
1.250”

Would love to see 750fps out of 5” colt.
