What did you do in the reloading room today?

Interested in how this goes… I tried 550 with 88s in mine and it was really accurate, but a little slow
My rifle is a bolt action with a 22" barrel. I went as high as 29.8 gains. OAL at 2.300" for about .020" jump. Velocity average was 2888 with ES of 23 and SD of 8.3 for 5 shots. Shot at 444 yards and got 4.166" group which is .896 moa. No pressure signs. I plan to go a little higher with the powder charge.

I think my top charge weight was 28.5 with an AR. I didn’t have a chronograph at the time, but it was just a little slower than the load I had with Staball 6.5. After reading that I want to re-shoot those loads with chronograph to see

I loaded a small batch of lazers to retest from last week and take it up by one grain.

These 4 groups were shot from a bench at 300 yards in calm conditions. The aiming dots are 1 inch for reference.

The 93.5 showed the same vertical characteristic of last week but shrunk to .692. Likely the form issue was the culprit last week.
The 94 was about the same as last week.
Up .5 to 94.5 was good with very minor growth.
At 95 the wheels fell off. No pressure signs and all shots felt good. Had an incredible ES but I see no need to continue charge weights at this time.

With a busy family season coming I won't do much more testing here although I'd love to play with neck tension and possibly seating depth. I'll focus what time I have on long range dope and skills practice with the Creed and 22lr.

Shot some 3 shot groups of 270 win 130 gr Hornady CX with Ramshot Hunter. Started around 55.1 grains up to 56.3. Low velocity was around 3000fps high was 3088fps. My form wasn't the greatest
Had a few groups with 2 touching then a flyer. Some loads has ES of 14 and SD of 8. I loaded up some 5 shots groups of the most promising loads and will reshoot to find the best.

I resized 6 (my only fired brass), deburred, chamfered, cleaned 6.8W cases. I am going to load them up with H4831 SC and send some 140g Sierra TMKs down the barrel at screaming velocities.

Anyone have a good load for 77tmks and varget? Wanting to get some loaded up for testing so I can get it dialed in for my son. He's getting a 16" 223 Tikka for his birthday in a couple weeks.

24.6gr under a 75eldm has been lights out in my gun so I was going to try something around there but I haven't researched the bearing surface differences.

Currently trying to find a load for the 77s and xbr. Not an impressive outing today.

Loaded up and tested some 300 WSM trying to find clickers. Just bought an Eric Cortina die to size near the .200 line down more. Forster die wasn’t sizing enough down that far. 20 rounds no clickers and super easy bolt lift

I loaded some load dev rounds for .223ai, 22-250ai and 6ARC. Then I cleaned my reloading room a bit, painted a stock and cleaned my gear room a bit. My kids were in and out of the reloading room all day with me, watching TV in there and helping me with little projects.
