Thanks for the info. I tried to say some similar stuff but people blow it off and say I’m down playing it. I’ve heard similar strait from doctors mouths. saying it’s not like what the media is making it out to be. And washing your hands is good practice.

Same. I gave up.

wife, sister, brother, uncle, grandad are all in the medical fields in some shape form or fashion. None of them worried about it. None of the people they work with are worried about it. “It’s not what they’re making it out to be” seems to be the consensus among them. Call me crazy, but if they ain’t worried... well I ain’t either.

The only hunting season cancellation I’ve heard about is CO Non resident elk. Heard your governor declared a state of emergency and didn’t want the sea of NR bringing the kung flu to CO.

How will Parks and Wildlife balance their checkbook then?

*Coronavirus and point creep will be linked together soon enough. I heard its 94 percent fatal for max points holders, of course I cant reveal my source of that information.

The nurses I talked to yesterday while I was getting blood work done (work related not coronavirus fear) seemed the same way.
The media is blowing this shit out of proportion. The sheeple are losing their minds right now, the thoughts of having to live without modern comfort has triggered them. What's the point of closing travel after this stuff is on every flippin continent except for Antarctica? Might have to go track down some long lost cousins in the Azores and go hide and tell stories of 100 dollar cases of water and the great TP shortage of 2020.

Edit: 50lbs of of dried pinto beans can now be yours on Amazon for the low price of 140 dollars......

Overreacting or not, when economic breakdowns occur and people lose jobs, it will probably become somewhat important.

Hey guys, I have to say goodbye to you all now, while I can. See, I gave severe sleep apnea. My CPAP machine just gives me to many problems that I am unable to use it. Subsequently, my immune system is compromised and I am very likely to get the pneumonia associated with Covid 19. I do have a referral to a specialist for my sleep apnea, but lets face it, after listening to all the news reports, there really is no hope for me. It is now just a matter of time. So, it's been nice, I've enjoyed the forum. But hey, I have live a full life, full of life's riches (definitely not the monetary type). So in short, I have no regrets guys and gals. But considering the news reports, hasta pronto mother %$@&</

So fun news from up here in Canada. I was just speaking to some Emergency Room Doctors, there have been a number of recent confirmed cases up here that all originated from business travel in the US within the last week or so. They had attended major conferences.

Some of the hospitals up here are already being stretched due to a few early mistakes that have a number of staff quarantined (hopefully from an abundance of caution) but just goes to show how delicate the health care system is.

Some info that I've looked for, but not been able to find online. (I believe this was from Health Canada, or whatever governing body supplies the Doctors with their current info)

Apparently the virus can live outside of a host for several weeks.. ie. On a handrail, door knob, etc. The common flu is a small fraction of that. Yes, washing hands can make a difference.

Infected patients can spread the virus for up to a week before either showing symptoms or testing positive.

I havent bought enough toilet paper. I need to make another run.

Has anyone else pulled up the South Park SARS episode lately? It a classic.

I can't draw a Kodiak bear tag with a 7% chance of draw and 3 chances every year for 10 years. So I'm feeling pretty good about my odds of not getting knocked on my butt by the virus.

Wash your hands just like you should be doing be doing every cold and flu season. And if you're starting to get freaked out by all the media, just watch some South Park.

Due to the deer being infected with Corona virus Wyomings deer season is closed. Sorry. Maybe buy a point in August.

Please don’t start that non-res wilderness discussion - Only other lengthy string of conspiracy nonsense I find myself perusing along with COVID 🤣

My wife is a RN and the first COVID death out of eastern Washington (Quincy) was her patient. She worked with him for three days and all five of us (three kids) in the house haven’t picked anything up from her aside from routine complaining.

Joe Rogan podcast with Michael osterholm is an interesting listen. A bit on the fear monger it side but worth the time.

What's her take on the bug?

Side note: I wonder if The Gorge will be shut down this Summer?

Cv-19 can’t compete with all the THC in the air at that place, or the funk coming off of the campers up in the fields....

ive seen exactly one show there, but have worked behind the scenes preparing for others...it’s more fun up there hanging with the crews than the crowd...

What was the strategy of Trump banning European flights?
I feel like theres a lot of bills being passed that we dont know about all in the name of "safety". Just like the socialist "financial aid" bill that they passed. Corona virus will go away soon enough but the power and extra hold they government takes during a panic is here to stay. Just look at the patriot act for example.
