Ya that has to be it. This theories in this thread are nothing short of hilarious

-A world wide virus is to get trump
-It was released by mad scientist for population control
-It was released to end the Beijing protest
-Its the LiBeRaLs

The echo chambers people live in are fun. Who would of thought that all these world politic/disease experts would be located on the same hunting forum!

Look at the first comment following the article to get a feel for who she is. A PhD in Biological Sciences does not make one an expert, the claim made by TITLE OF THE ARTICLE. The first sentence under the title is inflammatory rhetoric meant to frighten people by making the claim government's have "completely failed."

Article is junk. Lady is out of her lane. Plenty of good info out there, that is not it.

I couldn't help but notice that you didn't dispute her facts or conclusions (or that she has been spot on about the rate of increase in the number of cases).

I hope to hell that she is totally wrong but I'm preparing in case she is right.
 
Its funny how the media is quick to spread fear and panic around the world but not the Origin of the virus. I honestly think China has been playing with Bio weapons and there was an outbreak, Come on guy Corona Virus didn't just fall from the sky.
 
I found this today, it’s a comment that was left on a yahoo covid19 thread, I thought it was interesting but I can’t find the article the guy is talking about so I screen shot it just in case I couldn’t find his comment again.

My sister works for the hospital. She gets emails from the CDC and I’ll panic when she tells me too. According to her it is another for of SARS-5. There is actually four strands of this stuff dating back to 2005. Any disinfectant (Lysol ) kills the virus instantly, hand sanitizers kill it instantly, washing your hands kills it instantly and don’t touch your face. Mask do no good in close spaces. She told me unless it’s an official letter from CDC it BS. Just the media gaining air time. Oh yea the elderly are more at risk. Also more people die from the normal flu and pneumonia each year than the covid 19.

Liz Specht, the associate director of Science and Technology for the Good Food Institute. LOL.
She is parroting what she's heard on the internet. There are two camps the growthers and base-raters. Growthers "believe" in exponential growth. Base-raters "believe" in what has happened in the past as a guide. I'm a base-rater. I believe the rate will slow down and petter out. When will it slow down? Could be months. Facts are not conclusions. The woman is parroting information that she's heard. Check this out as far as two different beliefs.

The media is politically correct. No one is saying it's a weapon. All kinds of flu comes out of China. Has been for decades.
 
This stuff isn’t a weapon it’s just a different version of SARS-5. TURN OFF THE NEWS AND READ A BOOK. THANK ME LATER 😎
