Hi everyone, looking for opinions on what others are doing with their hand held releases during the hunts/stalks. I shoot a hinge which I made a wrist strap for. However it drives me nuts to have it on/ in my hand unless I have an arrow knocked and i'm in close. I have a sitka mountain bino harness. My current set up in to just run the pouch to my right of the main bino case instead of both to loose weight and bulk. In the zip up pouch on the back of the pouch I put my hunting tags. But there is another deep kangaroo pouch behind that which is where I think I am planning on putting it this year. But as I think every bow hunter worries about obviously don't want to loose my release. I've seen a video where Bodie Turner runs his in the kangaroo pouch that is located on the front of the side pouch but I definitely think that spot is more likely to fall out and it makes it harder to open the pouch for the range finder. Any tips or experience from others especially with this bino harness would be great!

I bought on of those kydex Ivory Robin hood holsters, I actually like it a lot. Easy to access and easy to move around. Customized it so it could fit my exact release.

Exactly like the guy above: The front stretchy pocket of the Marsupial bino harness with the thumb trigger poking out but pulling it out isn't the smoothest with my Carter Wise Choice release and I'm still worried about losing it. Tried to convert back to wrist strap because of this very concern but couldn't do it.

I don't worry a TON about it popping out...but has crossed my mind. I do however carry a back up release in the zippered left side pouch.

I don't stress too much about losing mine...but just as noted above, I've got a spare along with me in my pack hip pocket. My primary rides in the right side stretch pocket on my marsupial...but I also sometimes just stick in my right pants pocket or in the zippered leg pocket. My hunting partner uses a purpose built mount that attaches to the stabilizer mount...and he's lost at least one Stan when the paddle loosened and slipped.

Not sure what hinge you have, but I added one of these last year and I love it.

My UV button stays in the side pouch of my eberlestock bino harness when moving. When I'm set up or in the saddle it stays on the D-loop! Back up is in the front zippered pocket of my bino harness and back up to the back up is a stan onnex clicker in the truck lol.
