Marsupail NO MAG with range finding pouch
1lbs 3.4 oz

I’ve ran marsupial no mag Meduim with range finder pouch for couple years and really injoy it but….the front pocket is pretty useless and seems a little bulky compared to other and the hood tension seems stiff with no way to abjust.

Eberlestock BRAVO small (no mag recon) with range finding pouch
1lbs 1.5 oz

And What really motivated me to want to try the eberlestock with a usable front pocket and a smidge lighter it definitely feels lighter and less bulky then the marsupial.I like the abjustable tension for the hood as well it seems to have resolved all the down falls of marsupial without any weight penalty

(I have yet to run this in the feild but so far initials impressions look promising)

SG SENTINAL large with range finder pouch and! Additional side pocket
13.6 oz!!!!!!!

I really want to love this harness for being a SG FAN BOY but there is no level of support when I put in my vortex razor UHD 12x50 the binoculars wanted to tip forward. That being said the razors are heavy so I just ordered some zulu6 and 8 with them being almost 1 lb lighter then the razors I’m hoping this harness will shine.
With it lacking a front pocket the weight savings allows me to run there side pocket for the storage I’ll need

Only time will only tell with these harness but figured I’d at least share real world weight and my initial thoughts with weight comparison

How’s this going
I ended up with the marsupial the SG sentinel was too flimsy when the lid was open my vortex razor UHD and sig zulu6 felt like they wanted to tip out and was noticeably and if you bend over they would fall out (not that the bending over was a deal breaker for me considering I do not bend over that often with the lid open)

The eberlestock lid was the deal breaker it was hard ti slide bino in and out the lid kept getting in the way

I’m curious about your experience with this. Was it hard sliding the binos in because it was a tight fit with your specific binos or was it a design issue? Also how did the lid get in the way? Was it in the way when trying to put your binos away or was it in the way when you had the lid open and using your binos?

I’ve been looking at both the mag free Eberlestock and Marsupial and trying to decide which way to go.

The thing I loved most about the eberlestock stock was the big front pocket(compared to the non existent marsupial front pocket)
but that’s what was causing the lid to not want to stay down..unless you pulled the lid past the pocket all the way down..

I guess it depends on yr priorities
Imo marsupial opens and closes easiest

Eberlestock stock has the best front pocket but is hard to zip and unzip one handed

SG ultra light /minimal BUT marsupial is only 6-8 oz heavier
