I'm in the market for a rain system right now and I checked out your gear at TAC. I have a few suggestions to consider for the next update of the AllClima 3L jacket:
  1. Move side pockets up further to avoid pack strap.
  2. Eliminate arm and chest pockets.. I'm not sure what everyone is putting in all these pockets.
  3. Lengthen pit zips
I'd like to think that getting rid of the arm and chest pockets would reduce weight, increase waterproofness, durability and reduce some cost.

I like the chest pocket! I put the InReach and my phone in there. The arm pocket gets chapstick but I could live without it. Great coat!

I bought the UPF hoodie. Wasn’t sure about it, but had it in the cart. Accidentally hit “buy now” and whoops. A few days later it was at my front door. That’s an accident I’m not upset I made. When it arrived, I was very impressed by the quality, and it’s very comfortable. No bugs outside yet, but I hope that Insectshield is all it’s cracked up to be!
The bugs will want nothing to do with you!

Thank you for your support. More AllClima gear in the hopper for release in coming months.
@ForlohFamily any chance you can answer these questions?
yes and yes! We have lots of new styles in the works. A hooded lightweight jacket may not make it to market this year, however we have several non down insulated jacket / mid layer options coming to market by the fall. Can’t give you too much of the secret sauce, but they will be substantially quieter, and more durable options! There is a hooded down option coming for winter, but will be much different than the lightweight jackets we have now.

Glad to see FORLOH on Rokslide and interacting so quickly! I have to admit I was skeptical when I first heard of FORLOH. But I figured I would order a shirt and check them out. The only items I didn't really like were the SolAir pants (a little too "swishy" for me) and the 3L rain jacket (the softshell was a better option imo), other than that I kept everything else. I started with the UPF insectshield hoodie and now I am replacing most of my clothing with FORLOH. A few items I would like to see would be a quiet windproof vest, several types of gloves, a mid weight insulating hoodie, a jacket with the same material as the Stretch Woven pant. And pease take the 3L rain jacket hood and put it on the softshell! Exposed camo does great in the mountains, definitely prefer that pattern the most.
Your wishes are about to come true on most of what your have requested. The new product development team is in hyper drive coming out with just about everything you have asked for and more, and in time for hunting season!!! That’s the magic of Made in USA, with super speed to market!

Welcome! Glad to see made in America. Will be looking towards you vs kuiu (chiiina) though im pretty well set for a bit.

Weights will be nice to see when ready. One question though is why 650 fill down on the jacket instead of 800+? For almost $400, a 650 fill jacket is up there.

Digging the exposed camo pattern, it would be a perfect blend for all seasons high country.

In our extensive testing 650 fil for the style and weight was the perfect selection for a layering/active wear piece. 800 got too bulky in testing and was a bit too warm for the active outdoor enthusiasts. It is worth noting our 650 fil is 100% USA Duck down, and is treated with DWR(only 5% of the global market takes this extra step). The DWR gives the down a 60% wicking improvement over non treated, so if you fall in the water, you’ll come out with dry feathers and loft intact. Also we employ Forloh PerfWeld technology for the seamless baffles. This is sonic welds that don’t required stitching, are way more durable, don’t put a 1000 needle holes in a garment that’s supposed to be water resistant and promotes breathability, which is something that until now, down jackets weren’t great at. So a lot of extra steps and technologies go into our down stuff than the industry average. One last thing. The fabric is actually doubled on all down garments, so you are getting 2 layers of fabric and twice the durability than others! We like going the extra mile!
