I only hunt with spears and poison blow darts. This is a personal decision I made a few years ago after hunting with my bare hands proved to be too challenging.

Next time im in TX hog and javelina hunting, ill be packing a spear. Been on my list for a while now.

I'm with those that beleive that ethical hunting is more important than weapon choice. I love my bow but I would not trade anything for the time spent with my daughters rifle hunting.
