We are awaiting shipment from Australia. Should be on their way this week. Shipping supposedly takes about 4 days. I’ll update everyone as soon as I get info from Waters.

This is the update I received from Dave last night.

“Hello sir,

I am VERY sorry for not emailing sooner...

Last week we were away, then we had king tides and massive swell that washed away the road out of our area, and didn't get home until Tuesday this week. We have a family health issue Tue and Wed. We only had Thur (yesterday) and today is ANZAC (Memorial) day. A disaster run...

I am very sorry.

Items will ship on Tuesday...which is our next FedEx pickup (we only do Tue and Thur).

UPDATE:
FedEx has the package and it’s en route. I would expect I’ll have them sometime towards the end of the week. I will be processing them quickly once I receive them, and will be shipping them as soon as possible.

UPDATE:
FedEx has the package at my local terminal, but delivery has been delayed. It was supposed to be delivered last Wednesday, and I still don’t have it. I’m doing everything in my power to get that package as soon as possible. I’ve asked to go to the terminal to pick it up, and I’m being told that’s not allowed. I’m in correspondence with customer support trying to see if there’s anything I can do to get the package. I apologize guys, I know you’re anxious for your mags, and I figure some of you might be needing them for the June S2H class. I have all my packaging supplies on hand and ready to go, so we’ll have a very quick turnaround once I take delivery. If someone needs their mag for an event and it gets close to time, pm me and I’ll see about an expedited shipping option. Thanks for your patience, and I’m trying to keep you in the loop so that you know exactly what is happening.

I’d be interested in a review on the bottom metal. Especially compared to the lumley version

I’ve been using the Waters bottom metal on a tikka 223 in combo with their 6 and 10 round 2.4 mags for a while now but no experience with the lumley other than their bolt knobs which are a good option.

No complaints with the waters as feeds well and is holding up great. Shoot me a pm if I can send any pictures or answer any questions

I recently did the WR group buy, and a participant ordered the WR T3X bottom metal. @FZMT was kind enough to give me permission to open it before shipping to him, to take some pics and compare to another bottom metal. I guess there’s nothing too crazy about it, but it is slightly cheaper than some of its competitors if done in a group buy. The anodizing is hard coat, and done very nicely. I like how they squared/angled the trigger guard. Another nice touch is a beveled mag well for easier reloads. The mag release lever is a tad long for my taste, but a dremel would fix that easily...

UPDATE:
With the exception of one package I’m awaiting an address for, all mags have been shipped. Mags are fully assembled and ready for immediate use. I did not paint pen or threadlock the screws, as I felt that was best left to your discretion.

There are a few guys who are interested in getting some mags. I’d be happy to do another group buy if we have enough participants. I’d need at least 10 items to do it. I figure that maybe some that ordered on this first buy might want another after you get your hands on them. PM me if interested.
