Are the 6 rounders pretty tight on the last round or two like the 10 rounders? I wouldn’t be thrilled if that was the case. Less of a deal on the 10s because even 8 rounds isn’t bad.

You can do either. If you file on the mag, just file down the lip where the catch hooks onto the mag.Shim the front action screw and space the bottom metal down or file the magazine a bit?

Yeah after all that “tolerance” stacking, and with Stockys inletting being what it is, I’ve had to file all of mine. The two I have were plug and play in factory stock with factory bottom metal. Not so much in rokstok with high desert BM, the bottom metal needed shimmed.
I think @mxgsfmdpx posted a thread and showed pics of how he had to file some of his.
I’ve been really bad about following up with info on this and some other threads.@5811,
Here is the thread done by @mxgsfmdpx.
I recently purchased 6 magazines from Waters Rifleman for my gang of Tikkas. I have been on the lookout for larger capacity, high quality magazines for the Tikka platform. After trying a few other brands with mixed results, I figured I'd follow the advice from a few other Roksliders and give these a shot.
I ordered 3 of the Gen 7 .223 6 round mags (part number 0010) and 3 of the Gen 7 .308 family 6 round mags (part number 0016). These were purchased and received within 1 week of ordering which was surprising considering they shipped from Australia to Arizona via FedEx. Very fast...
I figured, I'll start with a light filing. Nice to get a custom fit.You can do either. If you file on the mag, just file down the lip where the catch hooks onto the mag.
I'm sure it's my stockys causing my troubles. One with factory BM fits with force. One with desert BM won't, but they both work well with factory mags so I don't think I want to shim.Yeah after all that “tolerance” stacking, and with Stockys inletting being what it is, I’ve had to file all of mine.
Shins would likely resolve the issue just the same but bottom metal will be “proud”. Not that it affects anything.
Thank you. These mags are really nice. I'll bet I'm just a few swipes with a file from perfect fitment.@5811,

I'm eventually going to need one of the WR 10-round mags. Which bottom meal will give me the least amount of grief using that along with the Beretta Performance (MT) 3-round mags? The two I have were plug and play in factory stock with factory bottom metal. Not so much in rokstok with high desert BM, the bottom metal needed shimmed.
did this materialize? Actively emailing for bottom metal and 2.6 coal magazine
Sounds good. There’s a 100 new left hand tikkas in the market. i’m certain a few of us are looking to have a longer COAL magazineThere has been 2 group buys completed. This thread is about the second one and is over. People are asking about a 3rd. I think @Schmo is a saint for doing this twice.
Hey all:
As @wind gypsy said, this thread was for the second group buy, and has been completed.
That being said, two magazines of the same part number, not 223 mags, were out of stock, and Waters is shipping them to me once they get that production run completed. With that being the case, it’s possible we can add some magazines onto that shipment, which will make it more worth his while, and will satisfy some of this additional demand. Chime in here if you’re interested, and I’ll see what we can do. Thanks guys!
It’s typically a little cheaper for you, and it’s also simpler. You just pay me, and the items show up at your house. What is the benefit of the group ordering? I need to make a purchase with Waters for a variety of items. Is it just shipping or is there a discount on items?
