I went out and shot this morning. Dropped it again on both sides of the scope, shot it out to 1050 yards with no issues. The wind was terrible, 10-25 MPH gusts so video was damn near impossible. I am very impressed so far with this scope.

I tried to video the drop test this morning but one of the cameras was shaking so hard it was worthless to post. I did drop it again on both sides of the scope from about 12 inches and check zero at 100, no zero shift. Then I dialed up and shot this yote twice at 608 with a good windhold:)

Thanks for the update Ryan.

Sure appreciate it. Keep it coming. Really hope this holds up and we don’t start seeing more issues.

I know they’re different scopes but how do you like it compared with the maven rs3? Glass about the same?

Mine just arrived yesterday. Haven’t mounted it yet but did play with it for a bit. The clicks seem pretty consistent, slightly soft but not a lot of slop. I do think the knob will be very slick when wet. Glass next to a buddies gen 2 razor was very similar parallax seemed more touchy on the LHT. Was a pain to focus the reticle for some reason.

It’ll be a bit before it hits the range.

Sometimes the POI shift from drop tests aren't necessarily from the scope itself but from the mounts/rings shifting and settling in a slightly different position.

I just received my mrad 3-15x42. messed with it for about 10 min on my tracking rig and it tracked well to 10mils is all I had time for.

Everything else actually met what my expectations were. Elevation clicks are little soft but it doesn't bother me. Zero stop function works well. Glass is great, and I really like the reticle. Love the size and weight of this scope. I guess we'll see how it does over time.

I would prefer FFP but in reality SFP on a 15x top end is usable for me in the field.

Has anybody else got their hands on one of these? I’m extremely tempted to buy one for a tikka t3x.

for those that have used it, if you were going to spend 1k would you consider this or look elsewhere?

If you needed a scope right now, then I'd take that 1K and buy an LRTS or LRHS. Those scopes have been proven.

If you can wait a while, then give this new Vortex offering time to be a winner. Should know in 9-12 months.

If you don't mind being a guy who tries the new stuff, then yeah this scope looks good on paper. Just no data out there. We live in a time that it won't take some guys long at all to run 2000-5000 rounds across one of these.

Couldn't take it anymore. I ordered one.

nice. I’ve got the discretionary funds ready to buy one, I just want to read a bit more first. I thought the original HD LH 3-15 was favoring to be THE scope but was let down.

shopping around, then eat price I was able to find was 999.00 shipped free to AK from euro optic.

I like the original lh but I like the features of the new lht better. Locking elevation turret, mrad reticle in specific while still keeping it pretty small and lightweight.

Absolutely, on paper it checks pretty much every box for me, I'm just leery of vortex and I dont think its an unfounded worry since I've had them fail myself.

I stick with their razors and I haven’t had one go bad yet....I even had a rifle fall off a barricade and crash the scope.... dope still good out to 900 yards.

now their other lower end stuff I can’t speak to yet. I do have a diamond back tactical ffp for plinking but it doesn’t see hard use.

All that to say I’ve seen kahles, NF, leupold, steiners and vortex all need to be repaired for one reason or another. It happens. Fortunately for me I haven’t needed anything done on my razors.

We will see how the lht stands up.
