Illuminated Reticle Newfoundland

Does anyone know definiitively if rifle scopes with illuminated reticles are legal to hunt with in Newfoundland? The regs say you can't hunt at night with scopes with illuminated reticles. Not planning to hunt at night.

Google says their legal just cant hunt at night with them. My nightforce was illuminated that I took to newfoundland and I was never questioned about optics. They were only concerned that there was a trigger lock and the ammo was in a separate case feom my gun case. Youll have a great time there.

Thank you. That's pretty much what I discerned from reading the regulations. Turns out our whole hunting party has the same scope.
